My Question was: Why did People like Hammer time so much?
A: I thought it was because MC Hammer had a unique flamboyant dancing style with his famous parachute pants he called Hammer Pants. It also led to many other artists wearing these styles of pants.
Also in clubs and parties, people would start dancing like him.
